What is this private membership?
Sacred Wyld Community PMA is a sovereign community based on the mutual intention to bring more reverence and care to the way we harvest, process, and consume meat and animal products.

MEMBERSHIPS ARE A PRIVATE CONTRACT:
Sacred Wyld Community PMA is a distinct entity from Sacred Wyld, LLC. While the two entities work together and are both stewarded by Wes and Joanna, the PMA retains a sovereign status operating in the private sector under our constitutional rights to assemble, enter into private contracts based on shared values, and conduct private matters outside the regulatory oversight of government agencies.
This means everyone entering into agreement with the Sacred Wyld Community PMA is assuming shared risk and reward, and clear about the private nature of the agreement.
MEMBERSHIPS CAN BE SHARED AMONG MULTIPLE HOUSEHOLDS:
This is great for people who cannot fully financially contribute to a Full or Half Share Membership, or who do not have the room in their freezers to store or utilize all the sustenance from one share.
All households contributing to a membership must sign a Membership Agreement (sent to you via email when you register).
SUSTENANCE IS DISTRIBUTED TO MEMBERS ON A ROLLING BASIS:
This means sustenance will be distributed to members in order of registration. If sustenance (primarily meat) from one harvest is fully distributed before all active members are served, the members who do not receive from that harvest go to the top of the list to receive from the next harvest.

FAQ
How often are harvests?
We host about one harvest per month in Colorado and primarily serve the Front Range area with sustenance and other membership benefits.
Once per quarter, we aim to distribute sustenance to Northern Arizona to honor the community and relationships we've developed there.
is this a monthly commitment?
No. We have learned that not everyone consumes sustenance at the same rate, so instead of conducting a monthly membership rhythm, we have made this a per-harvest model where you choose when you'd like to receive sustenance.
Subsequent contributions toward membership within 6 months of your initial contribution are awarded a 10% discount.
why do i need to agree to be in a private membership association?
Sacred Wyld Community PMA is a place where sacredly harvested sustenance is available without going through the regulatory process that all publicly-sold meat is subject to.
But it is important to note that this PMA is NOT selling meat or animal products. We are offering an opportunity for people to contribute to the community in exchange for a private membership that includes receipt of animal sustenance along with other member benefits. The purchase of a membership is a statement of shared values - primarily that we agree as a sovereign collective to harvest and consume animals in a more reverent and relational way than is available to us through conventional food chains.
You cannot get this kind of harvested sustenance in the public sector. It is only available through private means, like this PMA.

Is this PMA linked to a religious organization?
No. Sacred Wyld Community is NOT associated with any religious doctrine or dogma. We are a community based on the shared values of harvesting and consuming animals with reverence and care outlined by our tenants listed on the Sacred Harvest page of our website.
All members must sign an agreement of these shared values. That's the basis of our community and is allowable through the constitution to assemble as private citizens and conduct private matters through private contracts that are not subject to the regulations of the public sector.
We negotiate all PMA matters internally and it is important for all members to understand the private nature of this platform. We share all risks and rewards, and settle all disagreements through good-faith dialogue.
How will i find out about gatherings and events?
All member communication will happen via email. You can also keep an eye on our website where we update scheduled events regularly.
Pre-harvest virtual events will be held over Zoom and available to ALL members, whether you have contributed to receive from the current harvest or not.
Community gatherings for Colorado members will be scheduled seasonally and communicated via email.
Community gatherings for Arizona members will be hosted by My Mother's Marrow (our sister bone broth company) and other Sacred Wyld Community members who love to nourish and celebrate our connection with these animals.

We practice care through present conversations with our mentorship clients and community members, reverently honoring the life and death of the animals we harvest, ensuring care-filled processing of all the animal's sustenance that is distributed to our Private Membership, and providing spaces for our community to gather and commune with each other and the land.
